Thank you for shopping with Ruby's. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. Please review our return policy carefully before making a purchase, as it differs for in-store and online purchases.


In-Store Purchases

All in-store purchases are final sale. We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on items purchased in our physical stores. Please ensure your selection carefully before completing your purchase.


Online Purchases

We understand that shopping online for dresses and apparel can be challenging, especially when it comes to sizing. For this reason, online purchases made at shoprubys.com are eligible for returns, subject to the conditions outlined below.


Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
  • Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. We do not accept return requests past this period.
  • Condition of Items: Items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and free of smoke or other odors, with all original tags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Sale items, items marked as “Final Sale,” and items purchased with store credit are not eligible for return.


Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
  1. Contact Us: Notify us of your intent to return by contacting our customer service team via the Contact Us page on our website. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and whether you prefer store credit or an exchange.
  2. Return Authorization: We will provide you with a return authorization and shipping instructions. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
  3. Ship the Item: After receiving your return authorization, you must ship the item back to us within 3 days. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including taxes, duties, and customs fees for international orders. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.
  4. Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return. Approved returns will be processed within 2-4 days of receipt.


Store Credit and Exchanges

  • Store Credit: We do not offer cash refunds. Approved returns will be issued as store credit, which can be used on any product at shoprubys.com. To receive store credit, you must have an account with us. If you checked out as a guest, please create an account using the same email address to access your credit, or contact us for assistance.
    • Store credit is valid for six months from the date of issuance.
    • To use your store credit, sign into your account and proceed to checkout as usual. Your store credit will automatically be applied at the payment step.
    • Items purchased using store credit are final sale and non-returnable.
  • Exchanges: If you prefer an exchange, please include the style, size, and color of the new item in your return request. Exchanges are subject to availability, and customers are responsible for any price differences. If the requested item is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.


Additional Fees

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs, including taxes, duties, and any additional fees associated with the return. If the original order included any shipping fees (even if the order qualified for complimentary shipping), those costs will be deducted from the store credit issued for the return.
  • International Orders: For international returns, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, taxes, duties, and customs fees, which are non-creditable. Please note that customs delays may affect the return process, so we recommend initiating returns promptly.
